It all started when John Prizio working as union
carpenter was forced to leave his apprenticeship due to a union
strike. Burdened with the responsibilities of a home and family
he decided to start his own company. He
began going door to door handing out fliers to introduce the
community to his services.
After weeks of determination he finally
got his chance......
A homeowner in Stamford requested an estimate
for a roof on his home.
John gladly provided him with a proposal
and the homeowner accepted.
Working tirelessly for a week straight
he completed the job and the customer was very pleased with
his honest and no nonsense approach to business.
John knew at that moment that this was
his calling.
It was then that he established Prizio
roofing and siding.
In the years following he turned a one
man operation into one of the largest and most successful
roofing companies in Fairfield county.
